Hey all! Rob Croft here, welcoming you to the “Bike for Life” journey across America! I am a 66 year old fella who has been cycling since the age of 6 when I got my first bike. Over the years I have commuted by bicycle, vacationed by bicycle, been badly injured by bicycle, but the bicycle is my thing. It’s the joy of motion. Retired from a 36 year career in commercial bank lending, in 2020, I was able to complete a solo, unsupported transcontinental ride from San Diego to Savannah. Now, I am privileged to join my great friend, Marc, in our coast to coast, unsupported bicycle adventure to make a difference for cause of life through Hands of Hope Tucson. You, too, can be an influence for life. Make a difference, support the Bike for Life adventure. Your financial support will bring hope and resources to those who need it most!
Hi, my name is Marc Gold, and I would like to invite you to join with me in helping women in Tucson and across the country know that they have options and are not alone when dealing with an unexpected pregnancy. I am 67 years old and very excited about riding my bike coast-to-coast alongside Rob, my good friend of many years. My father was in government service, so we lived in many different states in this great country, as well as Germany during my middle and high school years. Arizona has been my home since 1974, and I married my wife Connie in 1980. We have two children, and three terrific grandsons. I have always been sports-minded and played basketball in college. I have participated in several bicycle races including El Tour De Tucson, and The Gila Monster Gran Fondo in New Mexico. Even from a young age, I understood that each life is precious in the sight of God. Riding our bikes across America will be a daunting task, but if we can help save even one life, it will be worth every pedal stroke. Let’s help families across America make the right choice. Please pray for us on this lifesaving journey.
